Ana Parks joined WE ACT in January 2007 as Community Organizing and Outreach Coordinator. Currently, Ana spearheads WE ACT’s Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Project by managing the NYC Lead Outreach Campaign. Prior to joining WE ACT, Ana worked for Union Settlement Association, where she served as the Project coordinator of Managing Asthma in Daycare & Head Starts (NYDOHMH). She has held positions with many of New York City’s leading public health organizations such as American Lung Association, Community Health Care Network, NYC Department of Public Health, and Institute For Responsible Fathers. Ana received her B.A in Public Health from the College of New Rochelle, and has certifications in Local Law 1 of NYC, Lead Work Safe Practices, Home Environmental Assessment, and as an Asthma Outreach Worker. Ana’s 15 years of experience as a public health professional and her fluency in English and Spanish make her an invaluable member of the WE ACT community.
