Sharonda C. Williams graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2003 with a degree in Legal Studies. She attended University of Pittsburgh School of Law and graduated in 2007 with a Juris Doctor and a certificate in Environmental Law, Science and Policy. Ms. Williams was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2008.

Sharonda C. Williams has worked at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 2 office in the Superfund department. She also has worked at Nixon Peabody LLP, in their Environment and Energy Group. Sharonda also is the Founder and Executive Director of Environment of Diversity, a non-profit focused on diversifying the environmental profession by educating h.s. students of color about career opportunities in the environmental field.
