Jaron Burke
Jaron Burke is the Environmental Health Manager at WE ACT for Environmental Justice, and has been in the field of public health for more than four years. He is responsible for supporting initiatives that identify and reduce hazardous environmental exposures in Northern Manhattan. Prior to starting at WE ACT, he worked on projects with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) and C40 Cities to examine challenges related to promoting clean energy and potential impacts on the health of communities, especially communities of color and low-income. Jaron received his MPH in Environmental Health Sciences from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, and a BS in Public Health from the University of Washington in Seattle. In his free time, Jaron loves to spend time outdoors, either hiking, biking, camping, or kayaking. Request engagement here.
