Climate Justice Working Group Natural Gas Ban Training

Approximately 70 percent of New York City’s greenhouse gas emissions come from buildings. Greenhouse gas emissions cause climate change by trapping heat in our atmosphere, and also contribute air pollution that causes respiratory diseases. That is why it is critical for us to reduce building emissions, and one of the primary ways to do that is to ban the use of natural gas and other fossil fuels in buildings.

Join us at 7:00 PM EDT on Wednesday, March 24 for our Climate Justice Working Group meeting for a workshop on how you can help us pass a law banning gas hookups in new construction here in New York City.
