Summer Movies: The North Pole

Join us for a FREE screening of the web series The North Pole at 6:00 PM on August 15, 2019 at West Harlem Piers Park (Marginal Street & West 132nd Street). This political comedy follows a group of friends from Oakland who struggle to stay rooted while their neighborhood becomes an increasingly hostile environment due to the impacts of gentrification and climate change.

Before the screening, we’ll have a panel discussion on gentrification (see below). We’ll also be playing environmental justice trivia and giving away WE ACT prizes. Please RSVP if you can join us. And tell your friends!
