WE ACT for Environmental Justice has launched a series of free online learning modules for children in grades 4 -12. Based on our successful Environmental Health and Justice Leading Training program, these mini lessons provide students – and their parents – with an introduction to the basic concepts of environmental health and environmental justice.

“Given the current public health crisis, which has created unprecedented challenges for teachers, students, and their parents, WE ACT for Environmental Justice is developing a series of free online learning modules based on our successful Environmental Health and Justice Leading Training program,” said Taylor Morton, Environmental Health and Education Manager at WE ACT for Environmental Justice. “These initial modules will provide an introduction to the basic concepts of environmental justice and environmental health, and serve as a valuable educational tool to help participants better understand the inequities that have contributed to the public health challenges faced by low-income communities and communities of color.”
