Annika Larson
Annika Larson is the Federal Policy Associate at WE ACT for Environmental Justice. Based in WE ACT’s Federal Policy Office in Washington, DC, she supports the office’s federal advocacy, legislative, and regulatory work.
Prior to joining WE ACT, she conducted research for the Climate Trends Chapter of the upcoming Fifth National Climate Assessment at Columbia University. Also, as part of a joint effort between Columbia University and Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations, she researched and produced policy recommendations for accelerating U.S. offshore wind deployment with an emphasis on equitable workforce development.
She holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Public Affairs with a focus on Environmental Systems and Entrepreneurship from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and recently received her Master’s degree in Climate Science and Policy at the Columbia Climate School with a focus on environmental law and policy solutions to climate change.
