Danielle Mangabat

Danielle Mangabat is the Environmental Health Coordinator at WE ACT for Environmental Justice. Rooted in Danielle’s identity as a Filipino-American justice advocate, they are passionate about advancing global health equity and environmental and climate justice through education, intersectional coalition-building, and movement-building. Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Anthropology from Emory University. Most recently, Danielle interned at the Environmental Defense Fund’s Frontline Resource Institute and was a Fulbright Research Fellow at the University of the Philippines – Diliman, where she conducted ethnographic research on decolonial studies, sexual and reproductive health, and environmental and climate justice. With experience in multilevel policy advocacy, interdisciplinary public health research, and decolonial methodologies, Danielle’s work addresses interconnected social justice issues to drive transformative systemic change.
